Scrap % (by count) = (Scrap Units ÷ Total Units) × 100 Scrap % (by weight) = (Scrap kg ÷ Total Input kg) × 100 Monthly Cost = Scrap Qty × Material Cost × Working Days

Weight-based: metal, plastic, process industries
Count-based: discrete manufacturing, assembly
